Una gita a Rimini - A trip to Rimini

Una decina di giorni fa sono andata con due amiche a Rimini per vedere la bellissima mostra "da Rembrandt a Gauguin a Picasso - L'incanto della pittura" (chi è curioso, segua questo link).
È stata una bella occasione non solo per passare una giornata in allegra compagnia godendo di un sole già primaverile, ma anche per scoprire le bellezze di questa cittadina che molti conoscono solo per le spiagge affollate di turisti in estate e per le discoteche che richiamano da ogni parte d'Italia gli appassionati del divertimento notturno.
La fila per accedere alla mostra era lunghissima, ciò mi ha permesso di approfittare dell'attesa per fare un rapido disegno di uno scorcio di Castel Sismondo, il castello costruito nel XV secolo per volontà di Sigismondo Malatesta e che forse ha visto il coinvolgimento di Filippo Brunelleschi.


Nearly ten days ago I went to Rimini with two friends of mine to see the beautiful exhibition "da Rembrandt a Gauguin a Picasso - L'incanto della pittura" (for those who are curious: follow this link).
It was a good opportunity not only to spend a day with a cheerful company, enjoying an early spring sun, but also to discover the beautiful things of this small town that is known by many just for the beaches always crowded in summertime and for the discos attracting nightclubbers from every part of Italy.
The queue for the exhibition was very long, this gave me the opportunity to take advantage of the delay to make a quick sketch of a view of Castel Sismondo, the castle built in the XV century to do the will of Sigismondo Malatesta, whose construction maybe involved also Filippo Brunelleschi.
