La visione oscura

Questo è un disegno astratto che ho eseguito alcuni anni fa utilizzando le matite colorate su un foglio di carta nera. Anche questo lavoro è stato sviluppato senza un disegno o uno schema preliminare; sono partita semplicemente dall'idea di realizzarlo con colori chiari su carta scura, in modo da dipingere le zone in luce anziché le aree ombreggiate. L'effetto finale appare simile a un cielo tempestoso, o a una sorta di nebulosa; l'ho intitolato "La visione oscura" sebbene l'abbia realizzato con grande serenità.

This is an abstract drawing that I have made a few years ago using coloured pencils on a sheet of black paper. Also this artwork has been carried out without a rough sketch or preliminary scheme; I have simply started from the idea of making it with light colours on dark paper, so that I had to paint the bright zones instead of the dark areas. The final effect appears similar to a stormy sky, or to a sort of nebula; I have given it the title of "The dark vision", although I have made it with great peacefulness.
